“THE HEIGHTS OF

POSSIBILITY EXPERIENCE”

An opportunity for 30 dis-advantaged young people to experience the sky and the chance for 3 chosen individuals to become pilots for life in a conservation organisation.

The "Heights of Possibility Experience" - ‘HOPE’ is an inspiring project that aims to uplift and empower 30 ethnically diverse and socio disadvantaged young people by taking them up into the sky to become pilots for conservation.

Aviation Statistics

  • ONLY 3% of all UK Pilots are female

  • ONLY 7% of all UK Pilots are from Black, Asian and Minority Backgrounds

  • This collaborative project is committed to addressing the lack of diversity in the aviation industry, especially conservation with a particular focus on ethnic and gender representation.

“Chance to become a

qualified pilot”

We use gliders to train our pilots, gliding involves flying unpowered aircraft using the same naturally occurring currents of air that birds use to fly to soar above the natural world. Using these invisible currents of air, known as ‘lift’, you can soar to great heights and travel great distances around the country and gain the nessaccery hours that lead to a Pilots licence.

The Plane

The Grob 109b is a super-efficient motor glider, with impressive soaring capabilities. It is used in many fields and is a very capable training aircraft which has been developed into the perfect day and night aerobatic display vehicle

We train our future pilots for 30 hours in a thermal powered eco-glider and the last 10 hours in a Grob 109b air plane with an engine to reduce our environmental impact.

The Location

We have started in Leicestershire and will be expanding nationally and internationally.

This initiative seeks to open minds to the boundless possibilities and potential they have within, showcasing what you can achieve in your life though becoming a pilot for conservation.
